Help me give my students a cozy, engaging library that feels like its own, special space in the classroom, and special seating cushions for people to sit and work throughout the room!

My Students
Our kindergarten class is all about growth! We believe that everyone can learn, and it's up to all of us to help each other along the way. Whether you entered kindergarten knowing 50 sight words, or whether you're still learning the letters of the alphabet, it's growth that counts.
We track and celebrate our growth with our Super Improver chart.
Any time anyone gets better at anything, they get a sticker on their card. By "anything," I mean anything -- tucking in their chair, saying the letters in the alphabet, tracking who's talking, using kind words, etc.. Once they fill a card with 10 stickers, they have improved enough to move to the next color card. When they reach their 9th card, they've become a "Master Mind," and will earn a big prize for their hard work.
The idea is that anyone can get better at something if they try, and even Mr. Snipper has a Super Improver card. By the end of the year, everyone will have become a "Master Mind!"
My Project
Our classroom library got a makeover this summer! The book bins have been reorganized and re-labelled to be more kid-friendly, and we have many fun new additions to our book collection. Classroom libraries are always evolving, and the next step for ours is to make it more of its own, distinct space in the classroom.
You can help make our classroom library its own cozy corner of the classroom!
Students love having a special place to read, and a readers' bench will help separate the library from the rest of the room just enough to make it feel like its own space (while still allowing me to see what's happening in the library). The bench has other benefits, too. Partner reading is a big part of our reading curriculum, and the bench is perfect for two students to read a book together! And it has storage space underneath, which is helpful for our classroom because we have fewer shelves than other rooms.
Students love reading in different spots throughout the room, too, so this project includes several cushions students can take anywhere they want to sit. The cushions I chose have been proven to improve concentration, and are fun to sit on! Along with the bench, these cushions will help make our classroom a fun, engaging, and comfortable place to read and learn!
