A Cozy Corner

Help me give my students a warm, comfortable space where my students can enjoy reading during independent reading time. A cozy and inviting environment can make all the difference in helping students develop a love for books.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their eagerness to learn and the joy they bring into our classroom each day. They work hard and truly deserve a space that feels safe, welcoming, and comfortable especially during independent reading time. The items I’ve chosen a futon, floor lamps, and a rug will help create a cozy reading corner where students can relax and enjoy their books. The futon will offer soft seating for students who need a quiet place to stretch out with a good book. The rug will define the space and make it feel warm and inviting. The floor lamps will provide soft lighting that sets the tone for calm, focused reading. These resources will help my students feel excited about reading and give them the kind of environment that supports focus, imagination, and a lifelong love of books.
