This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting the school year in a newly opened classroom was exciting—but it also meant I received whatever furniture was left after other rooms were set up. While I’m grateful to have a space for learning, the tables and chairs in my room are mismatched, wobbly, and not sized well for my Pre-K 3 students. It’s hard for them to sit comfortably, focus during small groups, or work together on activities when their space doesn’t fit their needs.

That’s why I’m requesting a new table and chairs—something sturdy, child-sized, and welcoming for young learners.

These materials will help create a learning environment where every child has a seat, feels included, and can concentrate on building early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.

With your support, I can give my students a space that reflects how important they are and how much they matter. Thank you for helping us grow!
