A Cozy, Comfortable Classroom

My Project

Please consider helping me make my

classroom more cozy and comfortable for all my students.

We are a Title I school and many students arrive daily looking for positive teachers to care for them. I am campaigning for a large rug that would seat all my students, including those with physical disabilities, for read alouds, smartboard work, and small group work. I believe this rug would help my students feel ownership and responsibility by having their own designated place to sit and the responsibility of keeping our rug clean as one of their class jobs. Our floor is concrete and stays cold. Please help me meet this need of bringing comfort to my classroom while also building classroom community for my precious students.
