This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our class, our classroom rug is the heart of our learning environment. It serves as a hub for collaboration, discussion, and independent work. However, our current rug is showing signs of wear and tear, and despite our best efforts, it's not as clean or inviting as it once was. I'm seeking your support to replace our old rug with a new one that will rejuvenate our space and continue to foster independence and comfort for our students.

The rug in our classroom is not just a piece of furniture; it's the center of our daily activities.

It's where we gather for morning meetings, share stories during read-aloud sessions, and engage in group discussions. It's also where students work independently, using the space as a home base before embarking on individual tasks. The rug serves as a comfortable and familiar spot where students can concentrate and immerse themselves in their learning.

By supporting our project, you'll contribute to creating a more inviting and conducive learning environment for our students. Your donation will go directly towards purchasing a high-quality rug that will withstand the rigors of daily use and provide comfort and inspiration for years to come.
