My Project
My students are energetic, curious fifth graders who thrive in an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and structured. Our classroom is full of learning, laughter, and conversation—and we need a rug that helps bring us together.
Right now, we don’t have a designated space where we can gather for whole-group discussions, read-alouds, morning meetings, or partner work.
A classroom rug will give us that special place where students feel connected, calm, and ready to learn.
My Students:
Our fifth-grade class is full of big hearts and growing minds. They come from diverse backgrounds and each bring something special to our classroom family. They love collaborating, sharing ideas, and making our classroom feel like home.
I am requesting a large classroom rug that provides enough space for my students to sit comfortably during group activities. This rug will serve as our central meeting spot for community-building, academic discussions, and social-emotional learning.
Having a dedicated space on the carpet encourages students to participate more, focus better, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. For many of my students, school is their safe place, and this rug will help us make it even more inviting.
