This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students live in a quiet, remote mountain community where opportunities to explore the world beyond are limited. For many of them, school is not just a place to learn, it's the most exciting and stable part of their lives. I want to create a classroom that feels like a second home, filled with warmth, care, and comfort. By adding flexible seating and SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) materials, I hope to build a space where my students can feel safe, express themselves, and grow both academically and emotionally. Your support will help create a nurturing environment they truly look forward to each day.
