Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I really want my students to feel super safe and comfortable in the classroom! I want them to have all the things they need to succeed, anchor charts hanging up, supplies and manipulatives for every student in small group learning, and headphones for their Chromebooks!
A calm-down corner with fidgets and calming activities is vital for students to feel safe and loved!
Students will take a few minutes there to unwind, get back into a good headspace, and come back to learning when they are ready!
I also want them to have STEAM games and toys to play with during recess time so they can use their creativity and express themselves!
