My Project
I have a group of 20 of the sweetest kindergartners. Each of them have grown to care deeply about the work that they're doing. They spend time to ensure it is their best effort. They use their best writing and coloring and grow proud of the work they produce in the classroom. Despite this, when they finish they have nowhere to put their work that they have put so much effort into. Each student keeps their backpacks and personal things in their own locker. However, it is around the corner in the hallway, making it difficult to access during the day without a timely transition.
Every student deserves to feel like they are apart of the space they are in.
These mailboxes would change the climate of our day to give them a home for their work. Being able to provide my students with these personal mailbox drawers will not only give them a sense of ownership but will provide a convenient way for each student to store their work during the day. Practical storage solutions make for management ease and effective transitions.
Providing my class with this space would be immensely beneficial and would impact our days in such a positive way!
