Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Pre-K students have daily opportunities to go to various classroom centers. My hope is to create a reading area that is so desirable, kids always want to go there. Fostering an early love of reading, helps children develop important literacy skills that will help them learn to read.
By donating to our project, you will not only help make the reading area a more desirable space, you will ultimately help to increase my students’ academic achievement.
Students who pick up and look at books early on, develop literacy skills sooner than children who don’t. Let’s help these little learners develop a love of reading sooner. Thank you!
