Help me give my students a Flex-Space Comfy Floor Table Zone with Blue Chairs and a Mobile Book Bin to create a comfy corner to get lost in a great story.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The pandemic has impacted learning on many levels from socially to academically. With classrooms finally opening, many of our students struggled with independent reading and finding enjoyment in reading. Reading is a fundamental skill that impacts all areas of academic success. In order to cultivate our young geniuses, I would like to create a reading nook in the classroom that provides flexible seating and access to a plethora of worlds (Just open a book!).
A good book needs a comfy corner to unleash its magic!
With this project our students will be able to do that and much more. There is no better feeling than finding a comfortable spot to read a good book.
