This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am moving back to OKCPS and will be teaching a group of amazing students next year. We are a low-income, Title I school with 100% of students receiving free meals.

My classroom has tile flooring and I do not believe in making students sit in one spot all day.

Our class is asking for a new carpet and some necessary supplies needed for the 2025-2026 school year.

In addition to a comfy carpet, we are asking for help to receive clip boards, student work pouches, and pencils to utilize throughout the year.

Your help is very much appreciated! I love to allow flexible seating- and all of these materials will help my students be prepared no matter where they sit in the classroom.
