This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
COVID-19 has created more than just a learning gap. Students are not only trying to gain what was lost in academic achievement but also vital social-emotional skills. This project will help to add areas where students will be able to collaborate without being stuck on the hard tile floor. More than ever I am struggling with students who are reluctant to make decisions for themselves.
Flexible seating will allow these students to get comfortable in our environment as well as meet their needs for movement.
Allowing students convenience and relaxation will result in a positive impact on student attention and learning.
