This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager learners who enjoy exploring the world around them. They love to try new things and share learning experiences with their friends. They work hard and try their best every day!
My students represent a wide variety of cultures, abilities and personalities.
Despite their differences, they help one another to learn and form friendships that defy language barriers. I love watching my students make progress over the course of the school year, often from being quiet and hesitant to bold leaders. My students are awesome!
My Project
When my students are looking for a good book, they also look for a comfy space in which to explore it. I want to make my classroom library as inviting as possible and these bean bags will do the trick!
What's more inviting than a chair you can sink into when you want to check out a good book?
It's challenging for young learners to enjoy reading while sitting on a hard floor. These bean bags will draw them into the library again and again. Not only will my students visit the classroom library, they will not want to leave!
