Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach students who are part of the special education program and my goal this year is to encourage them and get them excited about reading. Many students struggle with reading and find it difficult. I believe that providing a comfortable environment and giving them access to books that they are interested in will help them become avid readers. With a new rug to designate a reading area for my students, I believe that we can achieve the goal of encouraging our future generation to enjoy the stories the requested books have to offer.
