My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds all eager to learn. Each child brings their amazing stories and experiences that weave together to form our own unique classroom community.
We are a title-one school with a growing ESL population.
Our students come from amazing, hard-working families that wish their children to get the best STEM education to prepare them as 21st Century learners.
I am so excited to work hard to serve these young, brilliant individuals. I look forward to my first year teaching first grade!
My Project
This will be my first year teaching first grade. My students will need a carpet for when we gather for stories, instruction, morning meetings, character education, and sharing.
This round carpet will encourage inclusiveness.
The meeting place is the focal point of my new classroom and students will want it to be vibrant and unique. Students will spend much of their time in this space, it is important that I provide a safe and comfortable environment conducive for learning.
