This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students absolutely mean the world to me! They are an amazing group of kindhearted, hardworking, responsible, respectful children. They are always ready to do their work, help others and make wonderful memories together. We enjoy every day that we spend together.
My students support each other academically, emotionally, and socially.
They motivate each other and genuinely care for one another. They are extremely kind-hearted, hardworking, independent thinkers and learners, that possess so many admirable qualities. They genuinely love coming to school, learning, and being with their friends and teachers. Even though, they have profound learning and language differences, they strive to understand and apply grade level standards into independent and collaborative learning opportunities.
This project was specifically created with a vision in mind. The requested materials will enhance our learning environment, in particular our classroom library. The requested file folders and pencil containers will organize the pens, pencils, reading logs and reading responses. The requested cube organizers will display a variety of books across different genres for the students to read. I can imagine the students choosing books, then finding a comfy spot in the classroom library to read their books. I want to provide them with a beautiful, organized and engaging classroom library. A library that they will enjoy reading in. A library they will spark a deeper love of reading in. A library they will find comfort in. The requested materials will enhance the appearance of the classroom, as well as ensure that the students have access to reading materials and supplies they need for a successful school year.
