My Project

I am requesting an air filter and flexible seating for our classroom. These two tools would allow for my students to be more comfortable in our classroom. Having an air filter in our classroom would provide a welcoming environment, as well as provide defenses against air-borne illnesses. Flexible seating would allow for students to become more engaged within the learning experience in our classroom, as well as provide a sense of comfort while learning.

Comfort within a classroom is critical for student success.

I teach in a Title I school in Ocean Springs, MS. Our students are a diverse group, representing different backgrounds, interests, and talents. My students are driven, determined to succeed, and deserve the best educational opportunities available.
