My students need 1 A Place for Everyone Classroom Carpet for 30.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Francis's classroom raised $662
This project is fully funded
I teach the first grade in an urban school in Northern California. My young 6 year olds come from very diverse backgrounds making our school a very amazing place to learn.
Our class is full of beautiful children's work and colorful art and fun things to explore. It is a very welcoming place. The problem is the drab, old carpet. It is Grey-blue and stained. We spend so much time on the carpet learning and building community.
A wonderful solution to our blah rug is a 'place for everyone' carpet with a rainbow of colorful squares that are a very nice size. There are enough squares for all the children to sit. We can all gather around in on the edges for circle time. This is a time when we sing together. It is also great for classroom management. Each child can have an assigned square next to children they won't play with. Then when it is time to line up, I can dismiss all the children on blue, green, etc. The children will love the rainbow of color it adds to our classroom environment. It is a durable carpet that will bring so much brightness to our class full of eager learners.
You can help bring this amazing space to our place of learning. With this rainbow carpet the children will be so excited to hang out at rug time. Thank you for considering donating to our classroom.
