A Colorful Musical Rug for Creative Music Makers

Help me give my students a music classroom rug where they can move comfortably while further developing math skills by practicing rhythms.

My Project

My students walk into my music classroom ready to move, sing, dance, and play. They are filled with creative energy and I would like to give them a place that promotes interactive learning. This rug is not only colorful but has musical symbols and rhythms on it to promote developing math skills through practicing simple and complex rhythms and identifying musical symbols.

I desire to provide a place where my students are seen, supported, and feel free to express themselves while engaging with other students musically.

This rug will not only reinforce skills learned in class, but provide a place where students know they are coming together to learn, explore, and create music as a group.

Thank you for helping bring music learning and giving students a sense of belonging to our music classroom.
