Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Allowing young students the chance to be exposed to art has been shown to help develop motor skills, promote imaginative thinking, and provide them with a way to cope with and express their feelings. During free play, they are given the choice of how they would like to spend it. Currently, their options are limited to board games and blocks. The products I have chosen will help my students have one more option that opens their world up to unlimited possibilities as they use their colorful imaginations to create masterpieces to be proud of.
I have seen the positive impact that the Arts and art therapy can have on students especially those that have never had the chance to explore it.
My hope is that with these products, one more child is able to find the beauty of their imagination.
