Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves Pre-K students who are eager to learn. Our students come from different backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. Most of them are English Language Learners who have been fully immersed to learn a new language. They speak different languages including English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Bengali.
My students are my inspiration!!
One of our goals is to prepare students for success in kindergarten. I believe that each child is capable of achieving anything in this world. It is certainly a goal of mine to learn and grow with my students. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill the love of learning in my students.
My Project
We will use this SELPHY printer to print pictures for our classroom. Our Pre-k students learn best with visual aids, and many of them are English Language Learners. Students will have visual aids immediately for learning new vocabulary every month. This printer will benefit all of my students.
In addition, we will print pictures of them engaged in different activities that we can share with the parents and in the school environment.
The students love seeing their own pictures displayed in the classroom and love to talk about what they created in a certain center.
