This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 3rd grade classroom is full of eager, curious minds ready to explore new concepts every day. However, our current classroom environment is missing a key element to help our students feel comfortable and engaged: a soft, cozy rug where they can gather for lessons, read stories, or work in small groups.
This rug will serve as a dedicated space for students to come together for collaborative activities, circle time, and independent reading.
This rug will create a warm, welcoming area where my students can relax and focus without the discomfort of sitting on hard floors. Not only will this rug enhance the classroom's atmosphere, but it will also help foster a sense of community as students interact and learn together in a comfortable setting.
The rug will be easy to clean, durable, and large enough to fit our classroom’s needs, providing enough space for all students to gather. By supporting this project, you will directly contribute to creating a positive and enriching learning environment for our students.
