This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am reentering the classroom for the first time in years. Now that I'm going back into the classroom, there is a lot on the list of school supplies and school decoration that I need for my classroom in order to teach. This project will help me provide equitable education to my students, who otherwise would only have the basics. The lamination machine and pouches, 3 ring binders, file organizer, gel pens, markers, flair pens, and desk pad are for teacher organization and supplies to prepare lessons. The LED lights and wallpaper are for classroom decoration. The timer, magnetic rod, dry erase pockets, dry erase markers, pencils, and pocket door organizer are for my students to use for various projects. All of this makes my job as a teacher easier.
My students are low income students who desire to learn and find joy in learning.
I just want to create a classroom environment where they are comfortable doing that learning. These kids deserve that and everything and more!
