This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a color printer to add color into our classroom! As bilingual students, it is important to use color to differentiate language and to have interesting visuals that will help with language acquisition.

This printer is completely for student use.

They will be able to use it to print their work and show off what they have accomplished. We can also print their pictures for our classroom or bulletin board displays.

My students are special because they are mostly first generation immigrants from Latin America. They are learning both content and language everyday. They are eager to learn from me, from each other, and from all the experiences in their life.
