A Closer Look: Investigating the World With a Digital Microscope

Help me give my students a digital microscope to explore and use in our kindergarten classroom.

My Project

I am requesting a digital microscope to enhance my students' scientific exploration. With this tool, they will be able to observe everyday objects—leaves, insects, fabrics, and even their own fingerprints—up close and in incredible detail. Seeing the microscopic world on a screen will spark their curiosity, deepen their understanding, and encourage them to think like real scientists.

In our kindergarten classroom, we use Amplify Science, a curriculum that encourages students to explore and investigate like real scientists.

A digital microscope will allow us to magnify objects and conduct meaningful observations that support our learning. Whether we are studying patterns in nature, comparing textures, or making detailed drawings of our discoveries, this tool will bring science to life!

This microscope will help my students develop critical observation and inquiry skills that will serve them throughout their education. It will also provide opportunities for collaboration and discussion as they share their discoveries with their classmates. By supporting this project, you will help create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire my young scientists and ignite a lifelong love for discovery.
