Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Engaging students by offering incentives like stickers and stamps is an important part of teaching. Educating students on social skills is also imperative to a successful year.
My students are truly the best!
They make me laugh every day and I am proud to be their teacher. They are enthusiastic to learn and full of kindness, even when they have personal struggles. The teachers at my school work together for the success of the children and are involved in the community.
My Project
By offering stickers and stamps as reading rewards, students hold themselves to high standards and are self-motivated in order to receive these incentives. the rewards also act as a positive reinforcement for behavior. The books will help them understand social skills and everyday life skills that they need to also be successful in and out of the classroom. These books will also help them to become better readers.
Having enough reading incentives will motivate my students to learn and to be responsible for their own achievements.
By giving consistent positive reinforcement their learning environment will continue to be a safe place and their success will grow!
