Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a dedicated bilingual teacher in a Title 1 school, working with students from diverse backgrounds. My students are hardworking, resilient, and eager to learn, and I strive to provide them with the best educational experience possible. While my students have district-provided computers, I lack a reliable device of my own to plan, create, and enhance my lessons effectively.
A donated computer would make a tremendous difference in my ability to support my students.
With a functional and up-to-date device, I can design engaging lessons, develop interactive presentations, and efficiently manage digital resources. It will allow me to access and integrate educational programs, provide timely feedback on student work, and streamline my planning process. Additionally, I can collaborate more effectively with colleagues, track student progress, and stay organized with the many demands of teaching.
My goal for this project is to enhance my teaching practices and create the best possible learning experience for my students. With this computer, I can dedicate more time to lesson preparation, incorporate innovative teaching strategies, and ensure that my students receive high-quality instruction.
What makes my students special is their determination, curiosity, and love for learning. They deserve a teacher who is fully equipped with the tools needed to help them succeed. This donation would directly impact my ability to support them, showing them that education is a priority and that teachers, like students, also need the right resources to grow and improve.
