This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My group of 1st grade English Language Learners are eager to learn and show what they know! In order for them to make the most progress and achieve the most success, my students would highly benefit from a clear and colorful classroom.
The materials in this project will be used to make colorful math and ELA centers, where the students can practice skills to help them become stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians.
In addition, items such as labels and a label maker will be used to provide the classroom with a clear atmosphere of organization. By utilizing a clear labeling system, the students will be able to become more independent in problem solving both small problems [such as where to get more supplies] and larger problems [such as where to find the manipulative that will help them find the answer to a math problem.] Please consider donating to help my students feel more confident, inspired, excited, and independent in their classroom!
