This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school district provided breakfast in the classroom for all students. This is a great way to ensure all students start their school day with a full tummy. Although, it’s a great program it leaves our class room icky and sticky. The students enter the classroom and decide what they would like to eat.The menu includes a hot item like breakfast burrito, french toast or a cold item like cereal or yogurt, a piece of fruit and milk.
The students sit at their desk and try to be as independent as possible when opening their items.
But having 26 four year olds having breakfast with only two adults can be challenging. We often have spills, and crumbs on the desks. We have created a routine but, need essential cleaning supplies.
