My Project

I will be welcoming twenty one very young students next week. I haven't met them yet, but I am sure like most students, they will be nervous, happy and excited to come to school. I am a transitional kindergarten teacher in a low income district and I want to make their first year of education a great one!

The three items that I am asking for in this proposal are a twelve pack of little scientist lab coats, twelve small plastic organizing boxes and a magnetic display shelf.

I was very fortunate that one of my science proposal from last year for lab coats was funded. Last year, I had a very small class, only 12. This year, I will have 21! We love doing science and looking like a scientist while doing science. We will need 12 more lab coats so that everyone can wear one during science. The storage containers will be used to organize the writing station and keep everything in it's place so students can find these items easily. Last the display shelf will hold and highlight he book of the day. I plan to make it like a centerpiece that my students will admire until story time.
