Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we believe that every child should feel seen, valued, and empowered. This project will help us build a learning environment where students not only grow academically but also develop the social-emotional skills they need to become kind, inclusive, and respectful members of our community.

With your support, I hope to bring in diverse books, inclusive toys and learning materials, and cooperative games that reflect a wide range of cultures, skin tones, abilities, and family structures.

These resources will help our students see themselves and others in what we read and play with every day.

We’ll use books that celebrate different backgrounds and teach important lessons about empathy, fairness, and acceptance. Our new toys and learning tools will reflect the diversity of the world around us, allowing students to engage in inclusive and imaginative play. Cooperative games will encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving while reinforcing that we are stronger together.

This project isn’t just about materials — it’s about shaping hearts and minds. With your help, we can create a classroom culture rooted in respect, kindness, and a love for learning with and from each other.
