This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders are a bilingual group that is always ready to learn. They are curious, resilient, and hardworking kids that love learning new things, sometimes in the classroom and sometimes in the virtual world.
My students are excited about school and ready to grow as bilingual citizens of the world.
They are a highly motivated group of kids, mostly from immigrant families that are passionate and curious about the world around them.
My Project
Most of my students have spent the past year alone at home! I am very excited to welcome my students back to campus! I am looking to create a calm, clean and well organized classroom to welcome my students back to school.
This project will provide my students with plastic folders to organize their work, motivational posters and additional organizational materials to help us keep our space as comfortable as possible.
In this project I have also included classroom essentials that make the classroom environment feel welcoming and safe such as masks, the California flag and the LGBTQ+ Pride flag. I want my students space to fell safe, motivating, and happy so they can reach their fullest potential.
