Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A Classroom Like Home is all about creating a safe, cozy, and welcoming space where students feel supported, inspired, and ready to learn.
This project will help transform our room into a comfortable environment that encourages students to be their best selves.
My students spend so many hours with me in our classroom; with calming touches, creative tools, and special items students can earn, our classroom will become a place that feels like a second home — full of warmth, growth, and possibility. Students will have an individualized mailbox, the opportunity to create personalized classroom decor, and earn snacks and special VIP seating on the desk chair for the days when they need a little extra to keep going. Every donation brings us one step closer to making that dream a reality!
