My Project
I am looking to add a kidney table to my classroom. My classroom is a Preschool/PreK classroom serving students aged 3-5 with intensive needs. Many of my students are learning early foundational skills like sitting and attending to a task, playing with peers, and taking turns.
I strive to create a classroom unit with my students that becomes a family during the school year.
This kidney table will allow my students to eat together while working on skills like taking turns, using utensils, and building friendships with their peers. In addition to these skills, this table will also allow me to run small group learning opportunities to support parallel play, turn taking, and fine motor skills.
