My Project
Social and emotional skills for these littles were greatly impacted during Covid-19! All of the SEL books and craft supplies will be used to help the students create a mental/emotional balance — putting their feelings into words/“shown on paper” in an effort to maximize communication between teachers, parents, and friends. Larger gross motor skill items will help with students’ physical balance — learning how to appropriately move their bodies (throwing balls, hitting a target, jumping over obstacles, etc.) in a way that will challenge their muscles & brain together.
This classroom project was brought to life by Colorado Department of Education.
