it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class has been so resilient and eager to attend school all year with many quarantines and changes to our routines. Reading centers in my room allow a lot of movement and written responses. After two years online these little learners have become accustom to using technology and the comforts of home. Personal head phones that can be cleaned and allow for the continued uses of technology will create digital reading centers. Fun chairs allow for movement while reading or building word centers.
We have blossomed quickly into great readers despite the last two years of limited exposure.
Our library is our favorite center but the big bulky shelving make it so only two children fit at a time. New shelving in the library and fun spring books will allow us to finish the school year by practicing our newly found reading skills with more friends.
