Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The children in our class do have access to tablets. But I think it is important that they learn to use a keyboard and mouse.
Learning to use a computer mouse and keyboard will help with future testing in future grades.
Since most electronics are touchscreens now, learning to use a mouse and keyboard is a challenge for young children. If they have a computer accessible daily in our classroom, they will be comfortable with how to use a desktop before kindergarten.
Having the desktop in the classroom will also be helpful for families to use as needed if they do not have a computer at home.
