A Classroom Carpet for All Occasions!

My Project

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused separation amongst our students and division in our classrooms. This carpet will be a central feature of our classroom.

Students will begin to form meaningful relationships with peers by meeting on the carpet for class read alouds, circle time, and small group projects.

This space will make our whole classroom more warm and inviting.

I envision students for years to come reading the requested books on the carpet, using a clipboard for alternate seating, conducting group projects, working with a partner, or simply calming down in this new space.
