My Students
My students love to use the Web to do research and study from on-line tutorials and lab simulations. My problem is that the number of computers in my classroom make it so that they have to share in groups of 3 or more which often times leaves a student out.
I teach College Prep.
Physics to a great group of students at a Southern California Public Charter School. My students are Tech savvy and are currently turned off by the limited number of computers I am able to offer in my class room. They love to study by using online practice tests and review exercises but often cannot with my current technology.
My Project
My solution is to equip them with a Chromebook computer. The Chromebook will enable my students to participate in online lab simulations in order to improve their understanding of the basic principles of Physics. I also want them to continue improving their research skills in order to prepare them for success in college and the Chromebook computer will enable me to do this.
