My students are inquisitive children who are ready for learning! Many of them have never been in a classroom before. Kindergarten is a year where they learn what school is all about. They grow socially and academically throughout the year. We build the foundation for their future.

They are growing up surrounded by technology. I believe that it is important to teach students how to use technology. It is motivating and an important tool that our students need for their future.
My Project
Our class loves technology! We use a Promethean Board for most of our lessons and center activities. Students love the fun animations that make our center activities self-correcting and fun. The problem is that I have to connect my laptop to the board in order for students to access these games. When I need to use my laptop for other activities, I have to disconnect it from the board. The students are then unable to play the amazing self-correcting games that I have made for them.
A Chromebook would make learning on the Promethean Board accessible to students at all times.
I want them to be able to use the technology that we have as much as possible. Please help us maximize the use of the technology that we have in our classroom by helping us get a Chromebook.
