This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to the pandemic, our students were virtual for over half the year last year and some for the whole year. With students back in the school building and with access to the supplies at school, they are loving being able to have their hands on new books. I would like to provide new graphic novels, picture books, and early reader chapter books for my students. My students are quickly growing in the reading level and I can see them becoming more self-confident in their reading abilities. I want to make sure I keep their interests in reading piqued to continue their love of reading!
