My Project
As a Physical Education teacher at an elementary school. I am always trying to introduce the students to new games, skills, and learning opportunities that they might not get the chance to do. With the disc golf set, students will learn a game that doesn’t need to be an expensive piece of equipment and can play at home. This game will get them moving for healthy living. It is also for those students that may not be interested in a traditional sport. The soft set of foam disc will help instruct the wide range of students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Some students worry about getting hurt or lack of skill as they practice the new game. These foam disc will ease their minds. The trophies will be used to help provide inspiration for each grade level. Balance buckets and hopscotch provide many ways to add interest and level up to the disc golf experience. Please help me share this opportunity with my students.
