My Project
We were very surprised to have received the gift of a classroom set of 30 concert ukuleles last school year. Some of the ukuleles are being used in the Special Education music classroom and some in the general education music classrooms. The cases will help us care for the ukuleles and keep them protected when they are not in use. The straps will enable our students to hold the ukuleles without fear of the instrument being dropped. The ukulele felt picks will enable our students to strum the ukuleles more gently than when using their finger. This will add years of life to the ukulele strings.
We want to teach our children that when a gift is received we are to take good care of that gift.
With the neck straps and protective cases the gift will last us many years, thereby touching the lives of many students. We have students from many different backgrounds that will benefit from using the ukuleles.
