This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A place for everyone. My kindergarten students are amazing and love to learn. It would be great to have a carpet to sit on and create a comfortable learning environment for my students! We start our days with our morning meetings on the floor. This is where we complete out calendar activities.
The students in my classroom are from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
They are all eager to learn from one another. My students are underprivileged, but come to school with a positive attitude. By creating a classroom environment that is safe, warm and inviting allows my students to come to school everyday with a smile on their faces.
My Project
Once we have this great carpet we will be excited to use it for learning and sharing, morning meeting, our day yoga and relaxation activities and for story time. Much of our learning is spent on the carpet in Kindergarten and without one we will have to sit on the bare floor.
Your help would ensure that we have a clean and exciting classroom, that we have new ways to learn and experience our world.
