This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is filled with eager 4 and 5 year olds who are always ready to learn and explore new things. At this age a lot of learning takes place on the floor.
During independent work time, students use different centers to allow for individual creativity.
Centers range from reading, math, blocks, puzzles, or STEM activities. A CLASSROOM CARPET will allow students to read books on the floor, play with blocks or puzzles, and so many other possibilities! Having a carpet will allow students to be comfortable while working on different centers to allow for individual growth.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
