This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, social-emotional growth is important just as academic progress. I’m requesting SEL tools and books, flexible seating options, and a label maker to help create a supportive, student-centered learning environment.

The SEL tools and books will guide students in managing emotions, building empathy, and developing healthy relationships.

Flexible seating will give students the comfort and choice they need to stay focused and engaged. A label maker will help us stay organized, giving students a sense of structure and ownership over their materials and learning space.

These resources will help with independence, emotional well-being, and a stronger classroom community. With your support, I can create a space where students feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.
