Help me give my students learn the fundamentals of photography by learning how to use a DSLR camera.

My Project

I teach a group of curious and inventive photography students. But we have very limited resources. In this class, students learn about how photography is used to tell stories, document, capture moments in time, and how it is a form of artistic self-expression. Students will learn how to operate cameras photographs, about photographic composition and how express ideas and experiences in a photograph.

My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Many of my students have never picked up a camera other that a smart phone. We have only a few cameras to be shared among 40 students in each class. This limits what we can learn and do in photography. By purchasing a camera my students will have the opportunity to explore the rich form of self-expression that comes from photography.
