A Calming Reading Nook for My Students!

Help me give my students a tent, rug, pillow cases, and more, for a calming and welcoming reading nook in the classroom!

My Project

With the project, I will be able to create a welcoming and calming environment for my students to self-regulate and, read their favorite books. With the materials, we will have a rug for the students to lay on and be comfortable while reading and exploring their favorite books. Students will be able to use this space to explore and get introduced to books and reading in a healthy way.

Also, on the list is a Tepee so if a student is very upset and needs to self-regulate away from others they will be able to.

Then they can come back self-regulated and re-join the learning environment. With the vacuum, we will be able to keep a clean environment and the students can join in! This will give them a sense of responsibility and respect for their place.
