My Project
Our Early Head Start classroom is made up of 1-2 year olds who meet the poverty guidelines set forth by Head Start. Our students are working on figuring out big emotions and they will be using these tools to create a space to do just that!
This project will provide a safe space students to help them to recognize big feelings and what to do so they can manage all types of feelings in appropriate ways.
With this soft couch/book nook, books and calming toys students will have many tools to provide opportunities for growing their understanding on how emotions look. Also, Children will be encouraged to use the sensory toys to role play various emotions.
